Love stories last a lifetime

To most of us, we tend to feel love stories are always like the movies. Girl meets boy, fall in love and soon get into a huge conflict, but eventually realizes that their love is real … and then wedding bells and live happily ever after. That’s so Disney. But we know how rare that is in real life. Love stories don’t end with a wedding, they often begin with one.

Marriage isn’t just limited to two main characters and a predictable plot. What’s matters most is the support of people who matter, a sprinkle of chemistry, a lot of communications. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and so are love stories — good love stories do not happen in an instant. It takes time, patience, trust and a whole lot more.

Although marriage is a story written for and lived only by two people, its impact will be felt through generations. In the bigger picture, they contribute to the narratives of so many other people. And marriage thus involves more then just two people. We are accepting a new Ohana into our lives, new connections, new family love, new friends. Therefore, in our relationships, we should always remember to pour out, to give without expectations and be generous, to share our wins and losses, to give hope, and to inspire others.

Strong love is like a diamond, its indestructible as one of the hardest materials on earth. It goes through countless days with massive amounts of pressure and heat to make it shine. So does love. We need to persevere through conflicts and obstacles, with tolerance and deep understanding to maintain the relationship. Only by speaking our hearts out without reservations, we build trust and respect for one another.

Love stories can last a lifetime, only if we fight for it.

It was our pleasure to photography your special day. Seeing the smiles and joy of you and all your family really makes me feel the wedding even more deeply. And we are so happy to be a tiny part of it. The short couple shoot before the wedding was as intimate as ever too! Thank you for believing in us and we wish you all the best!

Congrats again!

Sincerely,

Jonajean
